I'm Vera Vague, Self Made Woman.
Like a lot of people, there was a period of time when I had no idea what I would end up doing with my life...
but I knew a few things for sure:
1. Working for other people depressed me.
2. I had to have a creative outlet.
Well in 2008 a glorious thing happened: my partner Victor and I began our vintage shop - VeraVague.etsy.com
The small act of creating that account has re-charted the course of our lives.
We quickly realized that the rewards of our venture were equal to the work we put into it,
and that drove us forward.
The purchase of a vintage Singer Featherweight sewing machine in 2009 facilitated a creative explosion which resulted in THIS,
my handmade shop.
We put 200% into our personal endeavors, and at the beginning of 2012...
Victor and I were both able to walk away from our day jobs!
It's a dream come true, and it's only just begun.
